In rural northern Wisconsin, the strong and self-reliant Irene, 73, center of the Daniels family, has become incapacitated due to Alzheimer’s disease. As Irene’s husband, daughters, and granddaughters provide challenging home care, youngest daughter Barb wonders about her own fate. Barb has a high-pressure job. She cares for her own family and helps with her mother five hours away. Lately, Barb’s been noticing some lapses in her own memory. Is it the beginning of Alzheimer’s disease? Or stress? All In: The Human Subjects follows the Daniels family as they care for Irene as long as they can. Barb is in the WRAP study, and her two sisters are also in the test group.
